Mr.
Richard Cooper has a thirty entrepreneurial career track in media, funding and
sustainable real estate, with an involvement in over $550million of renewable
energy production, clean-tech and “green” real estate projects.
Mr.
Cooper founded Europe’s first commercial VCR programming and rental
distribution culminating in a successful $23-million Public offering, founded
Media West Productions which aired over 2,400 aired ½-hour and 1-hour
client-sponsored programs for real estate, personal financial and business
opportunity sectors and was founding host for the Colorado Springs based
business radio network. Mr. Cooper’s slate of seven weekly business and
consumer oriented nationally syndicated talk shows became a “BRN” staple
for six years, and included
“The New Venture Money Show”, ‘”Grand Opening”
for those interested in franchising,
“Inventors Workshop Of The Air”, “The SBA In Action” and
“Scams Across America”.
Mr.
Cooper systemized the “payday” business model and marketing formulae and
launched the “U-Cash” brand in 1999 and grew the operation into 25
storefront locations in three States. Then, Mr. Cooper focused his attention
on project financing for residential, commercial and hospitality projects and
co-established the Home Builders Consulting Group, funding in excess of
$185-million funded plus $4.65-million in single family modular home projects.
Richard Cooper is a Fellow of the Institute of Marketing, a member of the Manufactured Housing Institute and a Consultant to the South Eastern Renewable Energy Alliance. He is a ten year resident of Charleston, SC (Johns Island) and is married, with three post-college kids and one grandson.
