Mr. Mark Bershatsky, Associate, Renewable Energy

Mark Bershatsky joined Sigma Capital in 2008 as an Associate. His responsibilities include business development, capital raising, due diligence, and financial modeling for renewable power projects spanning the solar, wind, and biomass-to-energy segments.

Prior to joining Sigma Capital, Mr. Bershatsky was an Associate in the investment banking division of Ardour Capital Investments. At Ardour, he worked on private placements for small cap, micro cap, and private companies within the alternative energy space, with a typical transaction size of $5-50 million. He also spent some time as an equity research analyst at Ardour, covering companies within the biofuels, grid efficiency, solar, fuel cells, and energy storage segments of clean technology. Prior to that, he held various economic research and consulting positions, most notably within the commercial real estate investing field.

Mr. Bershatsky holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Strategy & Entrepreneurship from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
